Four months later

Tim is sitting on the couch watching Fight when Jack and Sarah walk into the apartment. Sarah likes how the room would smell of fresh popcorn every time he watches a movie.

“I guess you finally found the Blu-ray for Fight?” Jack asks.

Tim pauses the movie and turns toward the couple. “Yea, I did. I thought I would preview it to see if it was appropriate.”

Jack raises an eyebrow, and Sarah chimes in, “Timothy, you don’t have to lie to impress me. You know you will never have a shot in a million years with me. So, it’s okay to like your punchy-punchy movie.”

Tim stands up and stares at Jack before addressing Sarah in a sarcastic tone, “Excuse me, little girl, the adults are talking. Now, Jack, did you want me to wait for you?”

Sarah lunges toward Tim until Jack puts his hand out, stopping her. “No, you are good. Sarah and I will just watch our movie at her place.”

“What movie?” Tim inquires, looking at Jack’s satchel.

Jack pulls out a movie that has a picture of four couples. “Idiots in Love. I did not know this, but it is based on a book written by the author of Smash Ball!” Jack says, showing Tim the movie.

“Oh, well, I’m already halfway through the movie anyway. It would be pointless to start over. Good luck with your chick flick,” Tim says, with a heavy sigh as he slumps back to the couch.
